The Modern Slavery Bill has passed its first reading in Parliament with support from 5 out of 6 parties. The bill requires companies earning above $100m to disclose modern slavery risks. Latest NZ ETS advice released | The Climate Change Commission (CCC) has released its annual advice on NZ ETS auction settings. The Commission recommends keeping auction volumes and price controls the same for now to limit the risk of further price instability and support confidence in the NZ ETS.
